Shadows & Light : : New Orleans Vieux Carre : : 12.21 - 12.26. 2001   One of the finest things i noticed the first morning i went outside in New Orleans, was the light. Golden with long sharp-edged shadows being cast. i was informed that it could stay that way for a good part of the day, being winter. Good. Always happy to sleep and dawdle a little later, rather than having to run right out with camera to get the good stuff!! Few comments are needed for these photos. Mostly i was delighted with the play of bits of greenery, the shadows they cast on the brick and stucco. It was all just so lovely.
