The contrast of elderly rooflines against a smooth or cloudy sky. The way the perspective shifts and you can feel small and amazed and dizzy. And of course, in New Orleans, there is the wrought iron...balconies...plants and other surprises up there. One MUST look UP.           Hotel Monteleone : also quite amazing at night.
