this weekend was an celebration of the 50th anniversary of Naked Lunch by WS Burroughs, a famous local figure, the Dot Dot Dot Gallery was exhibiting some of his artmaking “tools”. small, but interesting. then we headed to The Percolator, the gallery in the alley, for the Dime Bag Show & Sale and Pancake Feed. countless visual treasures. it was so wonderful
capped off on Sunday night by a Burroughs show of collages (not my favorites, darn) and reading at The Bourgeois Pig, a … bar … sort of? it was very fine, everything so relevant - look at the eats - ratcheese, sardines and saltines! a reading, accordion/guitar music, peopleWatching. supergood.
it was very good to go out and test my social graces (C+, i think!) and there was much artMaking at home, too. and fleas! ugh! a housewarming gift from King T.
