thanks jennifer! and thanks, jim, for visiting. of course you can ask! photoshop is my best friend and my favorite artTool. i like to attempt to make the images appear as i see them in my head or to reflect my mood at the time of making them. so i use a variety of brushes, actions, texture layers and color transformations (some i make and some are appropriated) until i get what feels and looks right - as you can see, i will use the same effect for a certain group - because i like some uniformity within the set. sometimes i can be too rigid and it gets boring. i realized i was a little cranky because the set above wasn’t all the same size. i had to let it go… ha ha.
when i found this place it was almost dark and leaves were flying … it was cold and eerie. i was enchanted!
I really like your photos. I’m a photographer as well ( poor too!) LOL
Anyway, I was wondering if you would be willing to sell me an untouched version of the Old Soldier’s Home for genealogy purposes only. Two of my great-grandfathers, who served in the Civil War died there. I have not had the priviledge of going there myself, and I respect copy rights. I only want something like a 4 x 6. I am working on collecting photos for family use.
If you are not interested, I understand that to. Thanks

Very nice photos. Dare I ask about how you did the aging effect? Or should a gentleman not ask a lady such things?
