in front of the blueDoor

i feel like i am becoming a “photoblog” lately.
ok, i’ll write some stuff. hmmmm…
magazine finished (i think). nada going on at the artTable this week. but having fun playing with images from the short walk last weekend. nothing new on etsy and probably not for the rest of the month. it has been a very very slow month and i feel it. that little extra $$ made me sleep easier. sleeping with the window open is rather nice. although i’m not sleeping well and my neck has turned to damaged concrete again. stress at the office. stress at home. god i’m glad to be leaving this weekend. going to boston to see my betsy and her thesis play. *and* family and david and swari, too. how i wish margaret could come, too. but sometimes it is nice having one-on-one time with the girls, so its cool.

last night i *finally* got to see Marie Antoinette. having just finished reading Abundance, i could hardly wait and had to move it up in netflix. it was gorgeous, although definitely lacking the depth and thought of the book. the book was LUSH. but it was nice to have that visual, though superficial, expression, too. i LOVED the contemporary music. those kids were the rockstars of that period, so it made perfect sense to me. the edginess of it was very cool. and i almost wet my pants when i saw those lavender Chucks in the 18th century shoe lineup. QUIRKY. i love love love weird stuff like that.

well. there. i wrote some stuff.
